Key Responsibilities:

Execute MIG and TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel and mild steel. Fabricate components based on detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Perform precise cutting, forming, and assembly of metal parts. Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Collaborate with the design and production teams to optimize fabrication processes.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in MIG and TIG welding within a precision fabrication environment. Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings. Demonstrated ability to work with tight tolerances and high-quality finishes. Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and metallurgy.

Desirable Attributes:

Formal welding certifications (e.g., BS EN ISO 9606-1). Experience with CNC machinery and modern fabrication tools. Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Ability to mentor junior staff and promote best practices within the team.
