We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services every Sunday. The successful candidate will play a vital role in meal and food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Duties
Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
Organise storage areas and ensure proper labelling of ingredients and supplies
Help with serving meals to guests or customers in a courteous and professional manner
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Support stock checks and inventory management to ensure adequate supplies are available for daily operations
Experience
Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or a professional kitchen is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices is advantageous
Experience in meal preparation, food safety standards, and serving is desirable
A genuine interest in culinary arts and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills within a fast-paced environment
