Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off vehicles to transport waste and recycling materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Start time: 05:00 - 15:00 Monday to Friday

Duties

Operate roll-off vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies. Collect and transport waste materials from designated locations to disposal sites. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including any necessary documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Assist in loading and unloading materials as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury. Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients at collection sites.

Skills

Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the vehicle as needed. Experience operating flatbed vehicles is advantageous. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work independently while also being a cooperative team player.
