Are you a safe, reliable driver with a friendly manner and a strong sense of responsibility?

Bloxham School is seeking a Minibus Driver to join our Operations and Logistics team on a part-time, term-time only basis. This is an important and rewarding role supporting the school community by ensuring pupils travel safely to and from school each day.

Key Responsibilities:



Operate a designated minibus route, collecting and returning pupils in accordance with the school's transport timetable. Build friendly, professional relationships with pupils and their families. Carry out daily safety checks and basic vehicle upkeep (e.g. refuelling, cleaning, and reporting faults). Maintain a safe and tidy vehicle, complying with road safety regulations and the school's transport policies. Assist with occasional additional transport-related tasks as requested by the Operations and Logistics Manager.

About You:



We are looking for someone who:

Holds a full UK driving licence with D, D1 or D1(101) entitlement. Has held a driving licence for at least 5 years and is medically fit to drive in line with DVLA guidelines. Is punctual, courteous, and takes pride in their work and appearance. Is confident managing minor vehicle maintenance and following safety procedures. Is available to work early morning and late afternoon shifts during term time.
Experience driving a minibus or similar vehicle is desirable but not essential.

Working Arrangements:



20 hours per week, 06:00 - 08:00 and 18:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday

Additional overtime will be offered to cover weekday activities and weekend sporting fixtures

The post holder's responsibility will include promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/ he comes into contact.
