We have an exciting opportunity to join the Education Department at Bristol City Robins Foundation as a casual minibus driver.
We are seeking a casual minibus driver to support on our post-16 education programme. The role involves transporting students from Ashton Gate Stadium to training sessions, fixtures and trips. Driving is most often available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.The successful candidate would most likely be required Monday mornings, Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons with the occasional Wednesday and extra cover where needed. However there is flexibility in the days and hours that you can work, which can be discussed.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Transport post-16 students to sports activities within the Bristol area in line with Physical Education requirements
Occasionally transport post-16 students to away fixtures and external trips in and around the South West.
Ensure that the minibus is kept clean and in good condition
Ensure signs inside the bus are properly attached and in good condition
Regular visual inspection/checking of tyres, lights, oil, water, and fuel
Ensure that any additional work required is communicated immediately to the Head of Education
Adhere to all Bristol City Robins Foundation policies including Health and Safety and Safeguarding
Ensure the Health and Safety and welfare of students whilst being transported
You will have/be:
A clean driving license.
A category D1 license (To drive a minibus)
Over 18
Excellent Communication Skills
Friendly and confident
Reliable
