Job Description

We are looking for a dependable full-time Minibus Driver to join our school. The ideal candidate will hold a valid UK Category D1 license or be willing to train towards obtaining their Category D1 entitlement. In addition to driving the school minibus, the successful candidate will assist with maintenance work, caretaking and other tasks as outlined by the Headteacher.

About the Role and You

Contract type:

Term time only, permanent (Split Shifts)

Hours:

6 till 8.30am 3.45 till 6pm Monday to Friday

Salary:

14 an hour whilst training, then 16 per hour once full qualified

Start date:

Immediate start available

As our Minibus Driver, you will be responsible for:

Safely operating the school minibus, including pick-up, drop-off, School trips and/or school fixtures, while keeping safety as your main priority as we carry passenger's . Being professional at all times off and on-site. Conducting daily school pick-up and drop-off from 6 till 8.30am and then 3.45 till 6pm Monday to Friday Performing pre- and post-trip inspections of the minibus, reporting any maintenance or repair needs, and carrying out daily vehicle checks. Also when needed Assisting with maintenance work, caretaking, or other tasks as directed by the Headteacher.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a valid Category D1 driving licence. Has a clean driving record. Is punctual and reliable. Is flexible and adaptable.
