Ipswich Town Foundation is recruiting for a Minibus Driver.
The Foundation Minibus Driver is responsible for the safe and punctual transportation of pupils on a regular daily schedule. Responsible to: Head of Education & Employability.
Hours of work: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - approx. 2.30pm-3.30pm; Wednesday - all day depending on Post-16 Football & Education programme fixtures.
SCOPE
The Foundation Minibus Driver is responsible for safely operating the Foundation Minibus according to a set daily schedule.
They must ensure that the Foundation Minibus is maintained in good operating condition at all times.
Operating one of the Foundation's current bus routes .
Maintaining good order and safe conditions on the bus and obeying all laws, regulations and rules of conduct with regard to driving and the road .
It is critical for the Foundation Minibus Driver to operate the Foundation Minibus in a safe manner. Failure to ensure the safe passage of students to and from the Foundation may result in serious injury to a student or young person and/or serious liabilities for the Foundation.
This job description will be reviewed annually and may be subject to amendment or modification at any time after consultation with the post holder. It is not a comprehensive statement of procedures and tasks but sets out the main expectations of the Foundation in relation to the post holder's professional responsibilities and duties.
