We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively manage deliveries and maintain vehicles. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time while adhering to traffic regulations.

D1 driver's license and DBS required

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition and report any mechanical issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any discrepancies. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, performing basic mechanical checks as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role is preferred. A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is essential. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist in maintaining the vehicle's functionality. Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and customers.
