Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable Bus Driver to operate mainly on home to school transport on a split shift basis, term time only. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers along designated routes, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. This role requires excellent driving skills, good communication, and a good understanding of vehicle maintenance.

Duties

Safely operate vehicles along assigned routes, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness Perform routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues promptly Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure passenger safety at all times Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a courteous and professional attitude

Requirements

Valid D1 or D category WITHOUT 101 restriction driver's licence Valid Driver CPC Cheshire West or Cheshire East drivers badge desirable but not essential Proven experience in commercial driving is desirable Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws Excellent communication skills in English Good organisational skills to manage schedules and routes effectively Prior experience in home to school services would be desirable but not essential Physical ability to assist passengers as needed and perform routine vehicle checks Must also have the abilty to work on your own initiative
