Overview:

We are looking for an exceptional Performing Arts teacher to join our team! Applicants should be passionate, energetic and professional.

This role involves teaching one 1.5 hour workshop to ages 5-7 years (Minis) and one 45 min workshop to ages 2-4 years (Tots) in Musical Theatre and Acting.

This teacher will help them develop their technique and performance across singing, dancing and acting. We are keen for our teachers to create a fun and safe space for young performers to learn and thrive.

The vacancy is currently for 3 hours on a Saturday morning, however we are hoping to extend hours in the future with an afternoon school as we grow.

Duties for Tot's class:

- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons

- Create a fun and safe space for children and their parents'/guardians' to introduce them to singing, dancing and acting

Duties for mini's class:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students

- Be able to deliver dance warm ups, simple technical exercises and basic choreography

- Be able to deliver singing warm ups, simple technical exercises and help pupils learn songs

- Be able to deliver acting warm ups, simple technical exercises and help devise simple scenes

- HAVE A GREAT LIST OF GAMES

Requirements:

- Qualifications at GCSE or above

- 1 year experience teaching

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: 25.00 per hour
