We're looking for a proactive and experienced
Minor Active Install Field Line Manager
to join our leadership team. You'll oversee a skilled group of field engineers, driving operational excellence and being the go-to contact for escalations, support, and field success.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead and support a team of fire & security engineers in the field, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Be the first point of contact for field queries, escalations, and performance matters.
Take ownership of recruiting and onboarding new team members--help us grow with the best talent!
Drive continuous improvement through coaching, development, and performance reviews.
Create and manage team rotas to meet customer demand and stay aligned with KPIs and SLAs.
Conduct site visits, investigations, and technical audits as required.
Oversee technical compliance including RAMS, PPE checks, toolbox talks, and van audits.
Provide hands-on support by completing a small percentage of escalated or aged jobs.
Hold regular team meetings and 1:1s to keep performance and morale high.
Champion training and upskilling within the team.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 5 years' experience in fire & security engineering.
Solid understanding of relevant legislation and industry standards.
Previous leadership experience (2+ years ideal, but not essential if you've got the drive).
Experience in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.
Strong organisational and decision-making skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). Experience with CASH for Windows is a big plus.
