MIS Support Assistant

Role Purpose



To enhance user engagement and service delivery by supporting the effective use of the CRM system, ensuring accurate data management, and facilitating communication between departments and stakeholders.

To assist with the day-to-day support of the Odoo CRM/ ERP system, ensuring accurate record keeping, basic troubleshooting, and user support. The role is ideal for someone with a working knowledge of CRM/Odoo and general digital tools, looking to grow in a systems support environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities



Key Responsibilities



Data Entry & Maintenance



Update records in Odoo CRM, ERP, HR, Accounts, and Finance modules. Perform basic checks for duplicates, missing fields, or outdated entries.

User Assistance



Respond to basic Odoo queries from staff and escalate more complex issues to senior colleagues. Help prepare user guides or step-by-step instructions for common tasks.

Admin Support



Assist in generating standard reports or exports from Odoo. Help test new features or updates before they are rolled out across the organisation.

Digital Familiarity



Use Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Excel) for communication and task tracking.

Skills & Knowledge



Essential:



Basic understanding of CRM and ERP modules Comfortable using Microsoft 365 (especially Outlook and Excel) Good attention to detail and a methodical approach Willingness to learn and follow procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively across departments Collaborate with IT and service teams to improve CRM workflows and integrations Provide training and support to staff on CRM usage and best practices Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive resident issues

Desirable:



Experience in a support or administrative role Familiarity with housing or nonprofit operations Understanding of housing association operations and resident needs Understanding of data handling best practices

Qualifications



Level 2 or equivalent in IT, Business Administration, or a related subject On-the-job training in Odoo or ERP systems is an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 24,000.00 per year
