Animal Search UK has been the leading online platform for lost pets in the UK, reuniting pet owners with their cherished companions since 1999.

This thrilling new position is located at our Chester headquarters, where candidates must check in before each search assignment. The role encompasses all UK regions and involves significant travel. Joining our Missing Pet Search Team guarantees in-depth training on animal behaviour and search methods for various species like cats, dogs, tortoises, llamas, and more.

Your duties and responsibilities entail:

Operating the company's search van

Conducting door-to-door enquiries

Posting posters and distributing leaflets

Performing physical searches using specialized techniques

Employing basic media skills for search day footage

Using professional search equipment

Demonstrating expertise in animal handling and behaviour

Being ready for overnight stays as needed (accommodation and expenses provided)

Displaying compassion and empathy towards clients

Requirements:

A clean UK driving license is necessary for a minimum of 12 months, with some van driving experience being advantageous but not mandatory. Furthermore, the license must be manual.

Must have a love for animals, be understanding, empathetic, and energetic.

Possess strong communication skills.

Expected to be active throughout the day, typically walking up to 5 miles on search days.

The position operates on a self-employed basis. On average, team members in this role have conducted 2 searches per month over the past year. Normally, we will request your availability each Sunday for the upcoming week.

Please be aware that consistent work is not assured and is best suited for supplementing your current income or individuals who are retired.
