We are a company who manufacture and create new FMCG consumer brands. This vacancy will be working for our e-liquid brand, Prohibition who are one of the leading e-liquid manufacturers in the UK.

We have a vacancy available at our Maidstone premises with an IMMEDIATE start to join our team on an initial 6 month contract.

Full-time

- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, set on a weekly rota.

Shift-times

- 6am to 3pm / 9am to 6pm / 1pm to 10pm. Flexibility is required.

About the role

Our Bulk Mixer's sit at the core of the business. As Bulk Mixer you will be responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients (e-liquid flavours and chemicals) - following precise formulas and recipes - to create our products. Bulk Mixer will be accountable for maintaining and promoting the highest level of product quality and health and safety standards.

A great Bulk Mixer has an excellent attention to detail and is able to work to exacting standards. They should have a willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

Duties

Prepare and mix ingredients, accurately following set formulas and recipes. Ensuring the highest standards of product quality and accuracy. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure that all allocated mixing schedules are completed within allocated time frame. Accountability for ensuring product specification is followed at all times, and highest level of accuracy is maintained during the mixing process. Responsibility for checking and maintaining accurate stock levels. Operating various large-scale mixing machinery and scales. Meeting the highest cleaning standards keeping the bulk room clean, neat and tidy, ensuring all equipment is cleaned to the hygiene standards. Responsible for maintaining and promoting the highest level of health and safety standards, ensuring correct health and safety procedures are followed at all times and flagging any concerns immediately. Maintain accurate activity logs. Complete any other reasonable requests as required by the management team.

Requirements

Good level of physical fitness - the role will entail frequent manual handling when mixing ingredients Good level of computer literacy. Efficient numerical skills - mathematics qualification essential (GCSE grade C or 4 as a minimum) Excellent attention to detail, with ability to precisely follow written formulas. Must have mathematical skillset to accurately measure liquid and powder. Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high level of concentration. Demonstrate high level of confidentiality. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Conscientious and accountable. Enthusiastic and motivated. This role is based in a clean room environment and comes with the requirement to wear full RPE / PPE during working hours.
