THE COMPANY:

An opportunity has arisen to work within the Mixing room of a well-established manufacturing company. Grangers International Ltd, based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire and established in 1937, is the owner of market-leading aftercare brands; Grangers, Fabsil and Cherry Blossom.

THE ROLE:

Reporting into the Mixing Room Supervisor, the individual will work closely with all teams across the business including Production and Technical.

Full-time Based at Grangers Head Offices in Duckmanton, Chesterfield. Opportunity to develop skills base through funded courses and training software

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

To carry out the weighing (up to 25kg) and mixing of batches of wax and chemical blends, which will then become our finished product. The finished batch of product is then pumped through to our filling departments. When it leaves the mix room it must be to the correct specification and quality standards. To achieve the above the mixing room operatives must be able to work together in a safe manner, whilst observing good housekeeping practices and following methods of manufacture accurately. Setting up and shutting down lines and maintaining filling machines

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of COSHH or a willing to learn Computer literacy - MS Outlook, Excel, Word. Experience working with chemicals in a similar role
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.75-14.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
