Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity and potential security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action as necessary. Utilise CCTV systems effectively to monitor premises and gather evidence when required. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage. Prepare detailed incident reports documenting findings, actions taken, and any follow-up required. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure a coordinated response to incidents. Provide first aid assistance as needed, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on site. Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with clients, staff, and the public.

Requirements

Proven experience in surveillance or security roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and strategies is an advantage. Proficiency in operating CCTV systems for monitoring purposes. Certification in first aid is preferred; willingness to undergo training will be considered. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with stakeholders. A valid driver's licence is essential for mobility between locations.
