About Us




Loaf Catering is a vibrant social enterprise committed to delivering high-quality food while creating employment opportunities for people with learning difficulties and autism. Our mobile cafe service brings our delicious offerings directly to events and communities across Greater Belfast.


We're seeking a dynamic and hands-on Mobile Cafe Supervisor to lead our cafe operations over busy period, cover holidays or sicks. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day service, supervising staff, ensuring food safety compliance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences on the move.

Key Responsibilities:




1. Inspire and support NOW Group catering students through provision of training and assessment opportunities in conjunction with training staff.


2. Oversee daily operations of the mobile cafe, including setup, service, and pack-down.


3. Supervise and support a small team of catering assistants, ensuring smooth service delivery.


4. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety (HACCP compliance).


5. Prepare and serve food and beverages to a high standard.


6. Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control.


7. Cover various locations across Belfast and surrounding areas.


8. Represent Loaf Catering's values and mission at public and private events.

About The Role

Successful candidates will undergo an Enhanced Access NI check. Shortlisting will be based on how well your application demonstrates that you meet the criteria.

Required Criteria



1. Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or cafe supervision. 2. Full UK driving licence (Category B) with clean driving record. 3. Strong leadership and communication skills. 4. Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures. 5. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments. 6. Passion for social impact and inclusive employment.

Desired Criteria



1. Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certificate. 2. Experience working in a social enterprise or with vulnerable groups. 3. Barista skills or experience with mobile catering units.
