We currently have several permanent vacancies to join our teams based at Bell Baxter High School, Cupar or Madras College, St Andrews. All posts are Monday to Friday, working 15 or 20 hours per week term time 38-week contracts as required.

Bell Baxter High School Cupar

Bell Baxter High School - 20 hours per week, 38-week contracts (as required 4 hours per day between 8am to 3pm)

Bell Baxter High School - 15 hours per week, 38-week contracts (as required 3 hours per day between 8am to 3pm)

Madras College St Andrews

Madras College - 20 hours per week, 38-week contracts (as required 4 hours per day between 8am to 3pm)

You will earn a competitive salary of 23,783.40 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:


12.67 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. Pay is every 4 weeks and annualised for 38-week contracts. This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether its Breakfast Club, Morning Break or Lunch you have served. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.

The Person

No previous experience is required as full training is given.


Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.


Ability to travel throughout the designated area within a limited timescale.


You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
