Job Purpose
The preparation and serving of high-quality sandwich van menu items to customers. Ensure excellent customer service to generate sales and to grow and retain customers.
Key accountabilities
Assist in the set-up of a variety of hot and cold dishes for the sandwich van on a daily basis, ensuring high quality standards are maintained.
Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service.
Maximise sales and share new business opportunities with management.
Maintain provision of stock, minimising waste and excess, including stock rotation.
Undertake all cleaning duties and other records and checks in line with environmental regulations and the organisation's Food Management Safety System.
Undertake vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is maintained in good working order.
Cash handling in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Support with menu planning and recipe development, incorporating customer feedback.
To maintain safe working practices at all times and ensure that statutory health and safety requirements are met.
To take responsibility for the safe conduct of work within your own work area.
To comply with all responsibilities and practices contained within Thrive Group Wales policies, procedures and systems.
To attend regular supervision meetings with your line manager, attend regular team meetings as and when required and take responsibility for your own professional development and learning.
