We currently have a temporary vacancy covering Cowdenbeath, Kelty and surrounding area in Schools and Council buildings, working 20 hours, Monday to Friday 40 weeks per year, as required.
Mobile Cleaner - 20 hours per week Monday to Friday as required 40-week term time contract. Working between 3:00pm to 8:00pm as required. This post is temporary for 1 year
You will earn a competitive salary of
24,740.74 pro-rata and annualised payments
with access to a range of benefits, including:
We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of 13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Travel expenses will be paid - we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.
Pay is 4 weekly and annualised.

This work is about ensuring staff and pupils can return to a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate
The Person
No previous experience is required as on the job training is given.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work - a current Driving Licence is desirable.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
