Mobile Cleaner
Location: Various Sites Across Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT)
Employment Type: Temporary (16th June 2025 - 31st July 2025)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Split Shifts: 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM & 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM, Monday to Friday)
Pay: PAYE 12.85/hour | Umbrella 16.32/hour
Are you a reliable and flexible individual with a passion for maintaining clean, safe environments? Network Recruitment Wales is seeking a dedicated Mobile Cleaner to join a dynamic team of two in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) for a temporary role from 16th June to 31st July 2025, covering peak workloads, staff vacancies, sickness, and annual leave.
What You'll Do:

• Clean various buildings and schools across RCT, including toilets, kitchens, offices, corridors, classrooms, staff rooms, communal areas, and indoor sports/changing areas.
• Sanitise surfaces, toilets, sinks, hand dryers, cubicles, pipework, and worktops.
• Hoover, sweep, mop floors, and clean skirting boards, window sills, and hard furnishings.
• Empty waste bins and operate cleaning equipment (e.g., scrubber dryers, where provided).
• Perform occasional specialised deep cleaning, including properties with hoarding or unique circumstances (details provided at interview).
• Act as a key holder to access or secure buildings as needed.
• Drive a works van (provided) as part of a two-person team, sharing driving responsibilities.

What We're Looking For:

• Essential: Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to drive a small works van.
• Essential: Must live in RCT due to shared driving, variable workloads, and potential emergency work.
• Essential: Clean and tidy appearance
• Essential: You must have an enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the update service
• Desirable: Basic experience with cleaning equipment and caretaking/cleaning tasks.
• Expertise: Practical skills and knowledge of safe operation of cleaning and laundry equipment.
• Flexible attitude to work split shifts (mornings and late afternoons) and adapt to changing workloads.
• Team player, comfortable working in a pair and handling varied cleaning tasks.
