Mobile Electrical Engineer

Kingston upon Thames (mobile)

About the contract

You'll help keep Kingston's buildings open, safe and efficient by supporting:


Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)

Statutory compliance tasks

Reactive repairs and fault finding

Small upgrades and improvement works

Energy-efficiency and sustainability projects (e.g. LED and controls)

What you'll be doing - Do you like roles where you can see the impact of your work straight away?

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across sites

Install, upgrade and complete minor electrical works to current standards

Fault find and resolve issues safely and quickly

Keep accurate records, service sheets and compliance documentation

Communicate clearly with clients, suppliers and contractors

Follow safe systems of work and report hazards promptly

What we're looking for - Do you want to work with a supportive engineering team?

Experience in facilities management or mobile maintenance

Experience working across multiple sites or a region

Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds 2330 (or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation)

18th Edition and Test & Inspect

Good knowledge of statutory compliance (e.g. emergency lighting, fixed-wire testing)

Ability to read drawings, problem-solve and communicate clearly

(Training will be provided where needed.)
