Mobile Electrical Maintenance Operative

40hrs/wk, Mon-Fri

(with flexibility to travel further afield outside normal working hours)

Office based - Most work is based in South East

The role will involve minor electrical infrastructure and fixed wiring repairs, driving to mainly domestic premises (may include some LV commercial sites) to complete reactive, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer. It may also involve some minor works in retail premises and some outside of normal hours working.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites as
designated by clients. Inc: fault finding and rectifying faults, testing
and inspection of fixed wiring, completing test certs. Carrying out
minor repairs and replacing fixed electrical items.

Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance.

Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.

Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites.

Identify non-repairable faults and promptly advise findings to the Line Manager,
with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including repairs and inspection.

Adhere to company and statutory health and safety regulations.

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical
installation/Maintenance.

City and Guilds 18th Edition.

AM2 / 2391 testing & inspection.

The ideal candidate:

Full UK driving license.

Experience using a PDA system.

Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical systems.

Carry out electrical testing and inspection.

5+ years in the electrical installation industry.

Some knowledge of Fire alarm systems.

Basic H&S training, DBS or willingness to undergo

Willingness and ability to find solutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
