Mobile Electrician

Covering North of Scotland(Elgin, Muir of Ord, Talisker) - Full time

This role involves travel across multiple sites in the North of Scotland, supporting planned and reactive maintenance, minor installations, and general facilities work.


You will be part of a mobile team providing high-quality engineering services, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, safety protocols, and contractual service standards. Flexibility is key, as the role includes participating in the call-out rota and occasional overtime.

As a Mobile Electrician you'll:

Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites. Carry out electrical testing and maintenance, including emergency lighting, RCD testing, and microwave testing. Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems (ventilation, AHUs, AC units, and more). Install, repair, or replace equipment such as light fittings and plant machinery. Support minor facilities tasks outside your core trade, such as basic plumbing, joinery, and smoke vent testing. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service delivery. Participate in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 4 weeks).

What we're looking for:

Fully qualified 18th Edition Electrician (including 2nd amendment) with time-served experience. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical systems such as ventilation and AHUs. Experience with Hard Services PPM and reactive works. Ability to work at height and sound understanding of Health & Safety. Strong IT skills (MS Office, tablets, PDAs). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Full, clean driving licence.
