We have an opportunity for a

Mobile Forklift Engineer

to join our busy and enthusiastic team in Huddersfield on a full time, permanent basis.

The Myers Group

is a fourth-generation family-owned group of companies based in Huddersfield, providing products, services and materials to the construction industry and employing approximately 380 people across West Yorkshire.

The successful Mobile Forklift Engineer

No Nights, No Random Shifts, Regular Hours. Hours to be discussed, most of our team work from 6/6.30am to 4.30pm.

Main duties and key responsibilities will include

:

To diagnose, service, repair and maintain all materials handling equipment across the Myers Group - Including Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, Combi Lifts and Loading Shovels. Identify faults using industry expertise, specialist advice and diagnostic software. Produce parts orders Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair schedules

Preferred skills, experience and attributes:

City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Forklift Engineering or Plant (Desireable) Full UK Driving Licence Experience of working similar working environments Excellent approach to Health & Safety Must be flexible
