We are seeking an experienced

Mobile Hose Technician

to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of producing top-tier hoses. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hose assembly, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for quality workmanship. The primary area that needs covering will be

Taunton.

Depending on what call outs come through, surrounding areas may need to be covered when needed and called upon.



The role comes with a generous and competitive salary subject to experience, made up of a basic wage and uncapped industry leading OTE / commission scheme. Your earnings will be enhanced by product sales for which you will receive support from both the sales team and branch staff.

As a

Mobile Hose Technician

you will be responsible for attending site to perform emergency hose replacement and hydraulic components in response to breakdowns with our diverse range of customers while maintaining full HSE procedures. As well as developing business with existing and new customers. This role will include being part of a 24Hr on-call rota with a team of mobile service engineers. To be claimed as overtime separate to commission.

Annual salary for the role is based on the candidate's experience.

Requirements & Key Responsibilities



Assemble hoses according to specified requirements and guidelines Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly Cut, measure, and assemble hoses, fittings, and related components Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet industry standards and comply with internal quality control procedures Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the assembly process Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines Proven experience as a Mobile Hose Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry Strong understanding of hose assembly techniques, tools, and equipment Familiarity with reading technical drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail and precision in assembly work Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
