Our Client is specialised cleaning company supporting commercial and hospitality companies across Scotland and the rest of the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services. Own car would be an advantage when applying for this role but we do have existing drivers who can pick you up to the job and drive you safely back home.
Duties
Perform heavy duty cleaning tasks
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
Dispose of waste materials appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks using hand tools or power tools as required for specific areas or projects
Support additional maintenance duties as directed by supervisors, including minor repairs using hand tools or power tools
Skills
Proven experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential - full training will be provided
Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools is desirable for specialised cleaning tasks
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst adhering to organisational standards
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness
Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled timeframes

Some of our clients are located further away and overnight stay will be provided by the company. If you live in Central Belt of Scotland then we will be able to pick you up to the job. If you have driving licence and own car then we will pay you mileage when picking up other workers.
