Mobile Mechanical Engineer





To carry out mechanical maintenance on the south portfolio of contracts, this ranges from PPM, reactive works, remedial works and minor works installs. Key Accountabilities



Carry out works to a high standard. Carry out all duties to the highest Health and Safety standards. Ensure all PPE is worn correctly and kept in good order. Communicate effectively with technical operations team. Carry out all compliance certification required for the role. Build a good working relationship with both the office and engineering teams. Form part of a call-out rota (1-10). To keep your van, tools and uniform clean and in good working order.

Internal technical Operations Managers. External subcontractors. PPM team. Contract Managers.

General Duties



Carry out other duties consistent with the post-holder's knowledge and skills which are necessary for the satisfactory completion of contracts or business goals. Participate on the out of hours call out rota when it is your turn to do so defined by the current rota schedule. Comply with all company policy and procedures, legislation and regulatory requirements.

Your knowledge, skills and qualifications



The successful candidate will be an experienced mechanical engineer and will ideally have worked in the commercial and hospitality sectors. Full understanding of a workforce management (CAFM) system via a PDA tablet. Wide knowledge on Health & Safety. Previous within the FM//Building Services sector. Previous experience with digital workplace management CAFM systems. Previous experience of SFG20 or other recognised maintenance standards. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office package products. NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing Installations (or equivalent) - Desirable. Health & Safety qualification (IOSH) - Desirable. G3 Unvented Qualification - Desirable. Organised. Builds good working relationship with internal teams and external service providers. Ability to work within the team and on individual basis with minimum supervision. Prioritises own workload. Experienced in using CAFM systems. Understanding of Statutory Requirements. Sound technical knowledge. Ability to understand, implement and challenge.

Working arrangements
