Salary : 30,000.00 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

Main Duties:

Carry out a range of reactive repairs across a wide portfolio of sites, both large and small, across the Hertfordshire region. This type of work includes but is not limited to: Planned/Reactive maintenance, Internal apartment block repairs, Fence repairs, Knee rail repairs, Playground repairs, Decorating, carpentry etc. Carry out fire door inspections on communal and apartment front doors throughout the region to check the doors comply with relevant fire and building safety legislation. Complete fire door repairs identified following inspection including adjusting doors, fitting of smoke seals, intumescent strips, self-closing devices, etc. Liaise with customers, ensuring appointments are kept and any delays communicated. Maintain excellent written and photographic records of all completed inspections and repairs for audit purposes. Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction by building excellent relationships with tenants and managing agents. Help assess maintenance issues and health and safety issues Some overnight stays may be required where necessary.

Person Specification:

Experience in fire door repairs would be highly advanageous. Experienced in Multi-Skilled Maintenance and compentent in Minor Electrical Repairs. Proficient with technology in order to use the app, computer, and web-based systems we use to record data. Ability to operate tools and machinery required for general maintenance. Demonstrate good decision-making skills and common sense. Take pride in consistently providing a high standard of customer service as you will be acting as a Community Property Care' representative when on site. Experience of completing works within an agreed time frame. Live in Cheshunt or surrounding areas. Hold a current and full manual Driving License (essential as company van provided)
