Overview:
The Mobile Night Safety Concierge plays a vital role in maintaining the safety, security, and comfort of residents across multiple buildings during the night. Operating across sites in Leeds, Harrogate, York, and Sheffield, this role involves providing excellent service, conducting routine checks, and being the first point of contact for any out-of-hours issues, such as lockouts or urgent concerns. This is a mobile position requiring travel between properties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to resident concerns or incidents, including lockouts, safety issues, and minor maintenance needs
Provide a professional and friendly point of contact for residents and visitors during the night
Monitor phone calls, emails, and messages from residents and staff, ensuring timely communication and escalation when necessary
Conduct regular patrols and inspections across assigned properties to ensure safety, cleanliness, and security
Carry out routine safety and wellbeing checks in line with building protocols
Manage parcel handling processes, ensuring secure storage and responsible access for residents
Maintain discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information such as tenancy details or identification documents
Accurately report and escalate any concerns related to maintenance, security, or resident wellbeing to the Night-Time Operations Manager or relevant senior team
Assist with minor on-site issues to support the smooth running of the building during out-of-hours periods
Essential Requirements:
Valid
SIA licence
Experience in a customer service, facilities, or security-related role
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to emergencies or unexpected challenges
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, approachable manner
Confident in using basic IT systems including Word, Excel, and email
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across properties during night hours
A proactive and dependable approach to working independently during overnight shifts
Desirable Requirements:
Previous experience in residential buildings, facilities management, or security
Familiarity with health and safety procedures, emergency protocols, or compliance processes
Multilingual abilities
