Job Description

As a Mobile Operations Technician Assistant (MOTA), you will play a vital role in supporting our technical field teams to ensure seamless and effective mobile site operations. Working closely with Mobile Operations Technicians, you'll assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mobile communication systems and equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing and loading tools and materials, supporting site setup and breakdown, conducting basic equipment inspections, and documenting work activities. You'll help with cable management, test equipment under supervision, and ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site.
This role requires frequent travel to various locations, sometimes at short notice, and the ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends. A successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions precisely. Basic knowledge of electrical systems or telecommunications is preferred, but not required-training will be provided for motivated individuals eager to learn. You must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in different weather conditions, and communicate clearly with both teammates and clients. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
