The Role: Control Room Officer
As a Control Room Officer at TMS Protection, you will be the eyes and ears behind the scenes, constantly monitoring CCTV footage and managing security alarms. You'll be the first point of contact when an alarm is triggered, and your rapid response will be crucial in preventing incidents or minimising their impact.
Your role will involve:
Monitoring multiple CCTV systems to identify and respond to potential threats or breaches quickly and accurately.
Driving company vehicles to client sites when alarm call-outs require on-site attendance.
Taking ownership of rostering tasks, ensuring shift coverage is maintained efficiently.
Coordinating communications with clients, response teams, and emergency services when necessary.
Logging all incidents and maintaining detailed reports to ensure transparency and compliance.
Following all procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of security operations.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and responsible individual who thrives in a fast paced environment and is confident in making decisions under pressure. We need someone with both technical knowhow and excellent interpersonal skills.
Essential Requirements:
Must be
over 25 years old
due to legal requirements for driving our company vehicles.
Previous experience in rostering and live CCTV monitoring, with a strong understanding of security operations.
Current and valid SIA licence and full UK driving licence, as you will be required to drive company vehicles.
Highly computer literate, comfortable using multiple software platforms simultaneously.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately record and report incidents.
High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to your role and the team.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and emergency services.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, using good judgment at all times.
