About Our Opportunity:





We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. As a core member of the maintenance function, you will carry out reactive, predictive, and planned maintenance across our sites. This is a mobile role covering locations within the Glasgow area only, with a company van and tools provided. Working hours are Monday-Friday, with overtime available.

What You Will Be Doing:



Monitor, fault-find, maintain, and repair a wide range of equipment including hydraulic power packs, pumps, gearboxes, conveyor systems, and treatment machinery.
Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operational performance.
Maintain, monitor, and document all service, maintenance, and CMMS records.
Identify, investigate, and report machine faults and damages using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate recurring issues
Perform MIG, TIG, and other welding methods as required.
Participate in ongoing training to stay compliant and aligned with industry standards.



About You:



Completed a nationally recognised mechanical or fabrication apprenticeship (minimum Level 3), ideally higher-level or time-served.
Proven background maintaining and repairing heavy plant and mobile machinery in engineering environments.
Able to work independently, managing your own time, workload, and site responsibilities effectively.
Committed to high standards, attention to detail, and safe working practices.
Full UK driving licence (company van and tools provided)
