Plant Fitter / Technician

to join our team.

The Role

As a Plant Fitter / Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a variety of plant and equipment mobile/ on-site.

Key responsibilities include:

Servicing and repairing plant equipment (e.g. excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, loaders, access equipment, road sweepers chassis/mechanical and sweeper system) Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical faults and rep Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs Completing job cards, inspection sheets, and service reports accurately Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements Liaising professionally with customers and colleagues

Required Qualifications & Experience (Essential)

Applicants

must

have the following:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)

in Plant Maintenance, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Agricultural Engineering, or similar Proven experience as a

Plant Fitter / Plant Technician

IPAF PAL card

(Powered Access Licence). Strong knowledge of

hydraulics, mechanical systems, and fault diagnostics

PUWER & LOLER compliance knowledge with

Valid LOLER certification

Valid

UK driving licence

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Good understanding of

health & safety

requirements A can-do attitude is a must, Over night stays are required occasionally when attending further afield customer sites. (Accommodation, breakfast & evening meal paid for)
