About this role

Just Eat Takeaway is looking to hire a Mobile Release Manager who is demonstrably passionate about learning, self-improving and making quantifiable and qualified contributions to the way we release our mobile apps to the App Store and Play Store.
Day to day you will deal with stakeholders at all levels to coordinate the inclusion of features into each release of our mobile apps, liaise with development teams on the status of work and report on the status of the release.
This is a high profile role with the opportunity to improve and fine-tune your skills. Working alongside some of the most highly skilled engineers in the trade, you will be able to utilise a wealth of knowledge and skills whilst at the same time, contributing to the Just Eat business.
These are some of the key components to the position:
Managing the release process from start to finish, including coordinating with a Senior Release Manager for fortnightly app releases.
Overseeing the full app lifecycle from preparing apps for internal testing and securing sign offs to ensuring a successful launch for customers.
Facilitating communication between development teams and stakeholders by running key meetings and providing regular updates on technical progress.
Collaborating with external partners to schedule and coordinate essential testing phases.
Championing continuous improvement by consistently seeking opportunities to streamline and automate processes, acting as a key advocate for best practices.
Maintaining and creating documentation to ensure all mobile teams have clear, up to date information on release requirements and processes.
What will you bring to the team?
Experienced in the full mobile app lifecycle, from initial development to scaling and distribution through various app stores.
Adept at managing software delivery within an agile framework, ensuring efficient and timely releases.
Familiarity with scripting and automation, an understanding of GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
Knowledgeable in software quality assurance processes, dedicated to delivering high quality, reliable mobile applications.
Clear and effective communicator, able to convey complex information through well structured documentation and successful meetings.
Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of a large organisation, building strong relationships and fostering mutual support for success.
Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders based around respect and mutual support for success.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously while remaining committed to achieving your goals
Strong multitasking skills, able to manage multiple priorities, stay committed to achieving goals and work with various stakeholders across different levels.
