Purpose of Role


Vinci Facilities is looking for an experienced Mobile Repair Technician to support our East Midlands Railway (EMR) Contract, operating across the Derby region and beyond.


The main purpose of this role is to carry out reactive and planned maintenance tasks across multiple sites within the region.

Responsibilities


Specialise in door and lock repairs, replacements, and installations.

Work closely with clients and members of the public in a professional and courteous manner.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site standards.

Participate in a 1-in-12 on-call rota (subject to change), providing essential out-of-hours support.

Essential Qualifications/Skills


Proven experience in a mobile role as travelling on average is 100 miles+ per day

Strong knowledge of doors and locks

Self-motivated with the ability to self-learn and adapt to new challenges.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - this is a client and public-facing role.

Strong customer service ethos with a problem-solving mindset.

Full UK driving licence required.
