Support at Home Service - Mobile Responder Service- Night workers
Night shifts (22.30 - 07.00)
Based in Ty Elai, Williamstown, CF40 1NY.
Salary 14,049 per annum for 20 hours per week plus enhancements for weekends and unsocial hours.
An opportunity has arisen in the Support @ Home team Rhondda Cynon Taff for a permanent 20hr night Mobile Responder post. The main function of the Mobile Responder Service is to provide a response to the Lifeline Monitoring Centre where an alarm has been triggered. The calls can vary, however the main types of calls we encounter and will respond to are:

Our service is primarily meant to ensure safe, independent living at home for our customers. We aim to limit the number of calls that Welsh Ambulance are required to attend so they can be redirected to those most in need.
Staff are required to liaise with individual's next of kin, care agency and/or emergency services to provide practical help, care and support working within remit of operational procedures and provide updates to lifeline monitoring centre.
Successful candidates will receive training on specialist equipment and the I Stumble falls management tool.
There is a requirement to complete fleet mandate forms and produce a clean driver's license as a council vehicle is used for this service.
The working pattern is 4 days on, 4 days off, then 3 days on 3 days off over an 8-week rolling rota. This rota pattern also applies to the day/night responders.
