MOBILE SECURITY OFFICER (Torbay)

Must possess a Full Current Driving Licence

And a valid SIA licence (Security Industry Authority Licence)

SIA Licence will be paid for on renewal

Must have a checkable work record for last five years

Job Purpose:

Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees and the public by patrolling and monitoring premises and equipment.

Duties:

Working various 12hr. shifts covering days, nights & weekends. 6 shifts on 3 shifts off-3xDays, 3xNights and 3x Off.

The ideal applicant needs to be flexible to cover various mobile positions in the Torbay and surrounding areas.

Secure premises by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.

Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; reporting trespassers.

Carry out Key holding, Alarm response and welfare visits to static security officers

You must be a good communicator both verbal and written, you may be dealing with local authorities and law enforcement agencies.

You may be expected to deliver concise written reports at the end of your shift.

Expected Skills:

There could be a possibility that you will be required to walk some distance over rough terrain including during hours of darkness

Proven experience as Mobile Security Officer or Static Security Officer

Ability to deal with uncertainty in calm and professional manner

Knowledge of public safety management

Possess good judgement, personal integrity and objectivity

Good report writing skills

Excellent surveillance and observation skills

Experience in surveillance systems

Reliable and dependable

Uniform and training provided.
