Job Description

Based from Marpol Security headquarters in Golborne, WA3 3RX, we require an experienced mobile security supervisor to join our response division. Our mobile supervisor division conduct a wide variety of services protecting the people, premises and assets for our client base across the North West. We invite applications from professional and proactive SIA licensed operatives seeking a challenging and rewarding role. The team operates day and night, and applications for positions on each rotation are welcome.

Duties

You will be provided with full training, a modern response vehicle and the necessary resources to deliver a suite of services, which include:

A range of foot and vehicle patrols, the opening and locking of business premises and responding to a range of alarms. Solving logistical challenges to meet our business service levels both independently and as part of the team. You'll have a network of colleagues and our 24-Hour Control Room to provide support, guidance, and reassurance. Management of client keys in line with the British Standards Institution (BS7984 & BS7499). Ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of all incidents following attendance to client locations, and escalation to our dedicated control room monitoring station. Performing on-site welfare checks on static officers in the field. Maintaining high standards by challenging behaviours, sharing examples of best operating practices, supporting with the delivery of uniform and PPE, and communicating the needs of colleagues through in-person questionnaires. Adherence to assignment instructions when carrying out patrols or alarm attendance at client premises. Informing the evolution of operating practices, escalating changes in the field environment that inform thorough and regular documentation amendment. Daily key and vehicle checks at commencement and end of each shift. Communicating and building relationships with a range of patrons including business clients, members of the public, and emergency services.

Who are we looking for?

Committed candidates who are looking to progress within the Security sector. Security experience would be desirable, but not compulsory, as full training is provided. Similar supervisory/operations experience in the armed forces or a related industry are also welcomed. Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work. A full UK Driving license is essential (manual), disclosure of licence points required for insurance purposes. Possession of SIA Licence in any of these front-line areas: Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection. Good communication skills. Good working knowledge of electronic applications and equipment such as tablet and smart phone devices. Ability to be resourceful and agile in meeting objectives. Calm under pressure and a good team player. A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Ambassadors for the company.
