Mobile Tyre Fitter



We are a well-established Tyre Fitting organisation who is expanding into multiple regions throughout Scotland and North East England. We are looking for an experience tyre fitter for the mobile tyre fitter role. They will liaise with the General Manager and the Director. You will be based from one of our depots in Glasgow, Airdrie or Edinburgh depending on your primary location. You will have to take in to consideration the targets, goals and aspirations of the organisation . We are looking for someone who has the capability to be on the road for the mobile fitting service and provide the best service possible.

Daily Tasks:



Your day-to-day duties will depend on the types of vehicles you work on, for example - vans and cars. You could:

Ensuring all tyres have arrived for the upcoming jobs

Ensure the vehicle is prepared for the upcoming day

Disregard old tyres appropriately at the end of the day

Customers who failed to attend their appointment need to be recorded to ensure tyres are sent back within 24 hours.

Keep work vehicle clean and tidy throughout day and end of day

Balance and Fitting

Repair punctures

Give customers advice

Duties & Responsibilities:



Providing excellent customer service to customers

Make sure the work is completed to a timely and high standard

Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, provide employee safety training to prevent defects, correct unsafe conditions and violation of procedures and safety rules.

Perform tyre installation, rotation, balancing, and repairs

Conduct tyre inspections to identify any potential issues or damage

Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

If you are in possession of the keys and it is your known responsibility to have them and at any time you need to handover the keys prior approval is required by Manager/Director before.

Skills & Abilities:



Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

Proficiency in using power tools for tyre installation and repairs

Familiarity with hand tools used in tyre maintenance and repairs

Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers in a professional manner

The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools

The ability to work well with your hands

Be thorough and pay attention to details

The ability to work on your own

The ability to repair machines or systems

The ability to operate and control equipment

To be flexible and open to change

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
