Tire Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience in using hand and power tools. This role involves performing tyre installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. The successful applicant will be physically capable of heavy lifting and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on various vehicles, including cars, vans, and lorries. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform tyre-related tasks. Conduct thorough checks of tyres for wear and damage, providing recommendations to customers as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist with heavy lifting of tyres and equipment as required. Provide excellent customer service by answering queries and offering advice on tyre care. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the workshop.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre fitting or automotive repair preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 kg) as part of daily tasks. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is essential.
