Mobile Tyre Fitter / Tyre Technician - Full Time

About Us

M4 Tyres is a family-run tyre business established in 2006, based in West London. We supply and fit both new and part-worn tyres and have recently expanded into mobile tyre fitting. We are now looking for a reliable and experienced Tyre Technician to join our team, working both in our busy workshop and out on the road in our fully equipped mobile van.

Job Summary

As a Mobile Tyre Fitter / Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on a wide range of vehicles, both in-house and at customer locations (homes, workplaces, roadside). This role requires strong technical skills, good customer service, and the ability to work independently. You will play a key part in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles while delivering an excellent service experience.

Responsibilities

Inspect tyres for wear and damage, ensuring they meet safety standards. Remove and replace tyres using appropriate tools and equipment. Balance wheels to ensure smooth operation and prevent uneven wear. Repair punctures and other tyre issues as required. Provide on-site tyre fitting at customer homes, workplaces, and roadside locations. Maintain a clean and organised work area, both in the workshop and in the mobile van. Adhere to health & safety protocols at all times (PPE provided). Assist customers with tyre selection and provide professional advice. Keep accurate records of services performed.
Skills & Requirements

Previous tyre fitting experience (minimum 1 year preferred). Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of tyre specifications. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to lift and handle tyres/wheels safely. Full UK driving licence (essential). Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site.
