Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive installations. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for installing a wide range of vehicle accessories to new and used cars and commercial vehicles.

Duties

Install a range of accessories including Tow Bars (an advantage), vehicle locks (an advantage), Parking Aids, Security Systems, Lighting Equipment. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and adjustments. Document all work performed on vehicles accurately in compliance with company standards using our dedicated mobile app. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of installs. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various vehicle systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Capability to perform heavy lifting as necessary during vehicle installations and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
