Duties

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of mobile equipment and machinery. Interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and assembly. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs, modifications, and installations. Assemble new equipment according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and function. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective actions efficiently. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or bulky components. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding work performed and future maintenance needs. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.

Experience

Proven experience in mechanical repair, equipment maintenance, or related fields. Familiarity with reading schematics and technical diagrams. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes. Knowledge of equipment repair procedures including troubleshooting complex mechanical issues. Prior experience in customer service roles is advantageous but not essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
