This apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to gain well-rounded experience by splitting time between two key areas of the business:
Morning (approx. 50% of role):
Shadowing and supporting the General Manager with day-to-day administrative and managerial tasks.
Afternoon (approx. 50% of role):
Working within the warehouse, supporting order packing, stock handling, and general warehouse duties.
The role is designed to provide hands-on learning across both office administration and operational warehousing, giving the successful candidate a broad foundation for future career development.
Key Responsibilities
Administration (Morning Duties)
Shadow the General Manager and provide administrative support.
Assist with data entry, filing, record keeping, and basic reporting.
Learn about scheduling, internal communication, and workflow management.
Support general office tasks and projects as required.
Gain an understanding of management decision-making and company operations.
Warehouse (Afternoon Duties)
Assist with picking, packing, and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Support goods-in and goods-out processes.
Maintain a tidy, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
Learn about stock rotation, storage, and quality control.
Operate as part of the warehouse team, following health & safety guidelines.
Learning & Development
Full support and mentoring from the General Manager and warehouse team.
Structured apprenticeship training under the Scottish Apprenticeship framework.
Opportunity to develop transferable skills in administration, operations, and teamwork.
Gain practical knowledge of business management and supply chain operations.
