We are seeking an experienced leader with a background in managing diverse teams at a senior level to join our leadership group. The Interim Modern Matron position is available to support some of the Adult Inpatient Wards and associated teams in Care Group 2 for up to 6 months.
The role involves overseeing safe, high-quality care, governance, and performance to improve service user experience across the wards, as well as supporting our new inpatient clinical model to enhance service flow. This band 8a portfolio contributes to shaping, developing, and maintaining the mental health acute care pathway, aiming to ensure safe and effective clinical interventions and strengthen the integration between Crisis, Community, and Inpatient services.
This is a fixed-term position. For those interested in a secondment, please first discuss this with your line manager to confirm release from your current role and to arrange backfill if needed.
To lead and manage the acute adult mental health across the inpatient & associated teams in Care Group 2 delivering safe and effective high-quality services, within the available resources to achieve the team targets.
The post holder will provide leadership and expertise to deliver services within an agreed service model, working with service users and carers, and other stakeholders, maintaining effective working relationships.
The post holder will work to establish effective multi-disciplinary working within and across the wider acute services.
