Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. Must be available Mondays. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and maintain food safety standards will contribute significantly to our customers' experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food safety guidelines are adhered to during food preparation and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Uphold time management skills to ensure timely service without compromising quality.

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is advantageous. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial. Basic math skills are required for handling transactions accurately. Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting. Pay: 12.21-17.65 per hour
