Established in 1999 Raise is an anti-poverty charity offering face-to-face and telephone advice and support for welfare benefits, debt and financial capability at a specialist level. We work in the heart of the community in partnership with local agencies to deliver holistic financial inclusion and income maximation.

We need an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a passion for supporting and empowering individuals to improve their financial sustainability. You will have the ability to relate and work with a large variety of different people on a 1:1 basis, delivered face to face or by telephone.
You will be working within a team of Money Advisors to deliver an advice and caseworker service under the Money and Pensions Service quality standards framework.
About you
You will:
be experienced and knowledgeable in giving Debt Advice to clients and working to quality standards and funder requirements.
have great communication skills and be able to work under pressure to achieve targets and outcomes with minimum supervision.
provide an effective Money Advice casework service.
be confident, motivated and willing to try new things.
work to MaPS, Quality of Advice Framework, ensuring that clients receive their full entitlement to all benefits, appropriate financial capability support and experience a positive customer experience.
Advice sessions will be a combination of telephone, outreach, and home visiting.
Raise offers a flexible working pattern, and a blend of home working and office based.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Annual Leave
: Staff will be entitled to a basic 23 days leave each year plus public holidays. In addition to the basic entitlement all staff may qualify for the following long service holidays:
3 years continuous service - 3 days
5 years continuous service - 5 days
Pension:
Employer will match employee's pension contributions up to a
maximum of 6%
Confidentiality:
The post holder is required to respect the confidentiality of all matters relating to Raise, its staff, volunteers and clients
Probationary Period:
Subject to satisfactory completion of a 6 months' probationary period.
This post is subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Check.
