Monitoring Technician - Ground Investigation (Hamilton, Glasgow)




Igne is looking to appoint a

Monitoring Technician

to join our

Ground Investigation Division in Scotland

, based from Hamilton, Glasgow.

full UK driving licence

and a willingness to

About the Role




This varied field-based position involves obtaining and testing a range of

gas and water samples in-situ

. Consideration will be given to both

experienced field technicians

and

those new to the industry

, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities



On-site monitoring of gas and water levels Groundwater sampling and inclinometer readings Completion of test sheets and data entry using tablets Working within in-house quality assurance systems Maintaining high standards of health and safety in line with company policies

Essential Skills & Attributes



Full, clean UK driving licence Good written and verbal communication skills Confident working in a team environment Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload

Desirable



Previous experience within a UKAS-accredited testing environment Knowledge of relevant testing standards and processes

Salary & Benefits



Basic salary circa

29,500

, dependent on experience Overtime available after 45 hours and at enhanced weekend rates

33 days' holiday
