The Role
As a
Montessori Early Years Educator
, you'll work as a key person within a small, passionate team. You will provide high-quality, child-centred education and care, guided by the Montessori method and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Your role will be to create a nurturing, stimulating, and orderly environment that supports each child's natural curiosity and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences following the
Montessori curriculum
alongside the
EYFS
framework.
Prepare and maintain the classroom environment, ensuring Montessori materials are beautifully presented and accessible to children.
Observe, record, and assess each child's progress, recognising their individual needs and interests.
Act as a
key person
for a small group of children, building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families.
Promote independence, self-discipline, and respect through gentle guidance and consistent routines.
Support the daily routines of the setting, including mealtimes, care routines, and outdoor play.
Ensure a safe, clean, and calm environment in accordance with health and safety policies.
Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your Montessori practice.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Montessori qualified
(AMI, MCI, or equivalent), or Level 3 in Early Years with a passion for the Montessori approach.
Deeply respectful of children as capable, curious individuals.
Calm, patient, and confident in creating a peaceful and purposeful classroom.
Eager to be part of a new school communitybuilt on collaboration, kindness, and excellence.
